Research activities are defined as all scientific projects in which the DZNE participates financially or by providing other resources, and in which data or biomaterials from participants are collected or used.

Projects that use data/biomaterials from the DZNE’s clinical research databases only need to be registered as research activities if they involve consortia or industrial partners, or if they are funded by third parties.

Please use this electronic form to register your research proposal (planned project/study).

After completion of this form the project lead as well as the project manager will receive a summary to be sent to klinische-studien@dzne.de together with any available draft documents (Ethics Committee application, protocol, information for participants, informed consent), if applicable.

After submission, your research proposal will be assigned a preliminary number and the form will be forwarded to the administrative offices of the DZNE. The number is necessary for the initiation of any activity of the DZNE administrative offices and should be stated in all communication relating to this research activity. A final number will be assigned once contracts, ethics approval etc. are available.
